NIU Parking Lots - Maintenance, Construction and Closings

April 15, 2008 – August 15, 2008 lot 10 (south of Lowden Hall) will be closed.

May 15, 2008 – August 15, 2008 lot 8 (Davis Hall) will be closed.

May 19, 2008 – Normal Road will be closed from Locust St to Lucinda.

May 19, 2008 0 August 15, 2008 construction work will take place on Stadium Drive South, Stadium Drive East, Lucinda, and Lincoln Hall circle.

Beginning May 19, 2008 through June 15, 2008 there will be cleaning, sealing, striping, and basic maintenance work done in the parking deck.  The company that will be doing the work will be barricading off two levels of the deck at one time.  There will be access to the other three levels during this time.

There is a possibility that the complete parking deck will be closed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday the last two weeks.  This has been arranged to allow the final striping and drying process to be completed by the time that summer semester classes begin.
