- Visitor Parking Information
Visitors must use pay-parking facilities or purchase an appropriate
parking permit at Campus Parking Services. Pay-parking is available for
visitors in designated pay -parking areas (visitor pay lot located on
Carroll Avenue-see map) and at parking meters located throughout
campus. Pay parking is enforced from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through
Friday, unless otherwise posted. Parking permits may be purchased in
advance.
A fee will be charged to departments requesting permits for guests. The
host department is responsible for making prior arrangements with
Campus Parking Services or for informing their guests that there is a
daily parking fee. A "No NIU Registration" ticket can be cleared only by payment of the daily fee if paid within 10 calendar days of citation issuance.
