Green Permit Holders Policy

Green Parking Permit: Remote parking for students living in university-owned housing at a less expensive fee. The green lot is located in the Convocation Center lot C-2 on the far East end and is accessible from Stadium Drive West. Vehicles should be parked within the first 5 single rows on the east side of lot C-2, extending north and south. If you are unable to obtain a space in the east five rows due to an event in progress, you have until noon the following day to relocate your vehicle to the east five rows.

In the event the Convocation Center has a near sold-out performance, you may need to relocate your vehicle for a short period of time. It is anticipated that this situation will happen infrequently. Information of such events and where you should relocate your vehicle to will be made available to green permit holders in a timely manner. Campus Parking Services will use a variety of avenues to get this information to the green permit holder such as: posting information at the resident halls, e-mails, and possibly phone calls. It will be the responsibility of the green permit holders to look for this information. The transfer of information will be a joint effort between Campus Parking Services, the Convocation Center, and green permit holders. All green permit holders must complete the "Green Permit Holders Agreement" and return it to Campus Parking Services (if not previously completed on vehicle registration form).

The following are important websites and phone numbers for obtaining information:

Information you need to supply to Campus Parking Services:

  • All phone numbers (room, cell, home, etc.) where we can contact you if needed.
  • All e-mail addresses that you use.
  • Your resident hall and room number.

Weekend and Holiday Parking:

  • If you are going to be leaving your vehicle on campus for an extended time period, such as over the weekend or for a holiday break, please make sure your vehicle is parked as far east in the parking lot as possible. Vehicles should be parked within the first 2 rows furthest east of lot C-2, extending north and south.

Snow Removal

  • You may be required to move your vehicle to another area of the lot temporarily to facilitate cleaning.

What will happen if I don't move my vehicle when I'm supposed to?

  • Your vehicle may be relocated to another area at your cost. You will be issued a ticket for the cost of the relocation fee. This ticket will be put on your Bursar's account if not paid within 21 days.
